You can do the following in the Time Settings section:
- Disable access to tests
- Change the date and time of the test
- Change the test duration
- Change the timezone
Disabling access to tests
After a test is published, the test access is enabled by default. If you turn off test access, your test link will be available, but you will not be able to use it because the test becomes invalid.
Note: If you disable access during a test, then the candidates who are taking the test will be able to continue without interruptions, but new candidates will not be able to access the test.
To disable access to a test, follow these steps:
- Click Test Details>Test Settings.
- Click the Test Access button.
- Click Save Time Settings.
Changing the date and time
You cannot edit the start date and time after candidates start the test.
Important: It is recommended that you do not change the start date and time after you have invited candidates to take the test. This will ensure that accurate reports are generated.
To change the date and time of the test, follow these steps:
- In the Starts At field, enter the start date and time.
- In the Ends At field, enter the end date and time.
- Click Save Time Settings.
Changing the test duration
You cannot edit the test duration after candidates start the test.
Important: It is recommended that you do not change the test duration after you have invited candidates to take the test. This will ensure that accurate reports are generated.
To change the duration of a test, follow these steps:
1. In the Test Duration field, enter the hours and minutes in the HH and MM formats respectively.
2. Click Save Time Settings.
Changing the time zone of a test
You cannot edit the time zone of a test after candidates start the test.
Important: It is recommended that you do not change the time zone of a test after you have invited candidates to take the test. This will ensure that accurate reports are generated.
To change the time zone of a test, follow these steps:
1. In the Timezone field, select the required time zone.
2. Click Save Time Settings.
