We have exciting news for you this month. We have added a bunch of features that are going to make your life much easier:
Team management: View all admins in one go
This feature lets you view the list of all the admins that were ever added to your account. You can find this in the Team Management section in Settings.
Here’s how you do it:
- Log into your HackerEarth Recruit account from here.
- In Settings, click Team Management.
You will see the list of admins sorted according to the last time they logged in.
In addition to viewing all the admins, you can also do the following in this section:
Add a new admin
Click Add Member to add new admins. You can provide access rights to the application based on the roles you choose (super admin, test admin, interviews admin and library admin and send API requests).
For more information about user roles, see User roles and permissions.
Search for an admin
You can search for admins by simply typing out an admin’s name in the Search bar.
Change an admin’s role
If you want to change the role of any admin, click Edit Role against that particular admin’s name and select the new role. You can also deactivate or delete an admin.
Say hello to BASH!
We have added BASH to the list of programming languages in HackerEarth Recruit. This feature would be helpful if you are looking to assess a candidate’s skills in Unix and Backend development. As for all other supported languages, there is an in-built compiler that allows candidates to compile and run code in the BASH script in the browser itself.
View total percentage score in the candidate report
The candidate report now shows a candidate’s total percentage when you download/request for the report. Here’s how you can view it:
Schedule automatic test reminders for candidates
A lot of recruiters had shared with us that they struggled with getting candidates to take up online tests and they had to send multiple reminders. We heard you and have built something just for that.
This new feature sends automatic reminder emails to candidates who have been invited but have not taken the test yet. A maximum of 4 reminders will be sent after a candidate is invited. The emails go out on the 3rd, 4th, 8th and the 13th days and also account for the end date (if specified) of the test.
Changes in test time automatically reflect on the candidate’s screen
If you extend the test time for a candidate, the changes will automatically reflect on the timer on the candidate’s screen. The candidate need not refresh the page or click End Test to see the updated time.
What’s next?
- The team management feature will soon support team creation so that you can create teams for each Business Unit that uses HackerEarth Recruit.
- We’ve also been working on enhancing FaceCode for you and the next version will be available soon.
We hope you like these new additions. Please do write to us at support@hackerearth.com if you have any questions.
