Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Even though I have set the camera permissions to Allowed, the compatibility check fails. What do I do?
Try the steps below to resolve camera issues quickly:
- Check the camera connection and condition
- Ensure the camera is correctly connected to the system.
- Inspect the device for any physical damage or obstructions that may be covering the lens.
- Close other applications or browser tabs
- Ensure no other application is accessing the camera. Using the camera in more than one program at the same time can stop it from working properly.
- Check if the camera is being used in multiple tabs or browsers. If yes, then close the tabs (or browsers) and refresh the test page.
- Other resolutions
- A simple restart of the camera and/or the computer can often resolve temporary software or hardware issues.
- Ensure that the camera drivers and the product software are up to date.
- Verify that network connectivity and firewall configurations are not interfering with camera functionality.
- Do not use mobile devices tethered via USB for internet access or as a camera source.
