Registering for a hackathon

When you open the HackerEarth challenges page, you’ll see various hackathons that are listed on the page. These hackathons are either live or upcoming.

Registering for a live hackathon

To register for a live hackathon, follow these steps:

1. Click Join Now on the hackathon that you want to register for. The hackathon page opens.
   
2. On the hackathon page, click Register Now. A registration form will appear on the screen.
   
   
   
3. Fill out the fields in the registration form. All fields marked with a red asterisk are mandatory.
   
   Note: The registration form is customizable and is subject to changes depending on a client's requirements.
   
   
4. Check the By participating in this campaign, I agree to applicable Terms and Services checkbox.
5. Click Submit. A new tab with a list of skills opens.
6. Select your skills and click Done.
   
   Note: It is not mandatory to fill in relevant skills. However, we recommend that you fill it out so that other team members/team leaders can find you based on the skills you bring to the team.
   
   

You have successfully registered for the hackathon.

Registering for an upcoming hackathon

To register for an upcoming hackathon, follow these steps:

1. Click Register Nowon the hackathon that you want to register for. The hackathon page opens.
   
   
   
2. On the hackathon page, click Register Now. A registration form will appear on the screen.
   
3. Fill out the fields in the registration form. All fields marked with a red asterisk are mandatory.
   
   Note: The registration form is customizable and is subject to changes depending on a client's requirements.
   
   
4. Check the By participating in this campaign, I agree to applicable Terms and Services checkbox if available on the form.
5. Click Submit. A new tab with a list of skills opens.
6. Select your skills and click Done.
   
   Note: It is not mandatory to fill in relevant skills. However, we recommend that you fill it out so that other team members/team leaders can find you based on the skills you bring to the team.
