Subjective questions
HackerEarth library has subjective questions on technical topics and more practical skills like product management and business functions. These questions are designed to assess candidates across multiple domains, especially where strong communication and analytical thinking are essential.
Subjective questions can be answered in either of the two formats: text (long-form text or keywords) or video. Each format offers a unique advantage for evaluating candidates' knowledge, skills, and communication abilities. Check out this article to understand the use cases of subjective questions.
Subjective questions with a video response
In this format, candidates answer questions by recording a video during the assessment. This method allows you to assess candidates' communication skills along with their theoretical knowledge.
Important
- A candidate can only record their video response one time. Once the recording is stopped, you cannot record it again.
- The maximum time limit for video recording is 5 minutes.
- We recommend using a microphone that is already connected to your system. Connecting a new microphone during the test may cause issues.
