Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
After accidentally pressing the Windows key, I was logged out of the test. Can I join in again?
Yes, you can join the test again.
HackerEarth’s Smart Browser includes several new proctoring settings that restrict certain keystrokes. If you use any of the following, you will be moved out of the test window:
- All function keys and combos involving these keys for example: F1, F5 + Alt
- Alt + Tab
- Ctrl + Alt + Delete
- Ctrl + V
- Ctrl + C
- OS superkeys and combos involving these keys ex: Windows Key, Mac Command Key, Windows Key + C
When you use a restricted keystroke, you are logged out but the test does not end. You can log in again and take the test from the start.
You can read more about advanced proctoring settings in the Smart Browser here.
