[Review assessment audio in the candidate report](https://help.hackerearth.com/audio-proctoring-for-assessments#review-assessment-audio) HackerEarth has introduced audio proctoring for assessments to create a more secure testing environment for candidates and recruiters. This new feature promotes a fair and transparent assessment process. It detects background sounds like conversations or noises while the candidate is attempting assessment. Audio proctoring can help detect a range of violations that may occur during an assessment. These include: - Cheating through verbal communication - Use of unauthorized devices - Background noise ### **How does audio proctoring work?** HackerEarth records and analyzes candidate audio during the test. Select the test for which you want to enable audio proctoring on HackerEarth. 2. Navigate to **Test details** section 3. Click **Overview**  4.
