This article describes how audio proctoring works on HackerEarth assessments.

We will explore the following topics:

  1. Introduction
  2. How does audio proctoring work
  3. Enable audio proctoring
  4. Review assessment audio in the candidate report

HackerEarth has introduced audio proctoring for assessments to create a more secure testing environment for candidates and recruiters. This new feature promotes a fair and transparent assessment process. It detects background sounds like conversations or noises while the candidate is attempting assessment.

Audio proctoring can help detect a range of violations that may occur during an assessment. These include:

  • Cheating through verbal communication
  • Use of unauthorized devices
  • Background noise

How does audio proctoring work?

HackerEarth records and analyzes candidate audio during the test. Audio segments are monitored and flagged for review by the test admins.
