Even though I have set the camera permissions to Allowed, the compatibility check fails. What do I do?

Try the steps below to resolve camera issues quickly:

  1. Check the camera connection and condition
    1. Ensure the camera is correctly connected to the system.
    2. Inspect the device for any physical damage or obstructions that may be covering the lens.
  2. Close other applications or browser tabs
    1. Ensure no other application is accessing the camera. Using the camera in more than one program at the same time can stop it from working properly.
    2. Check if the camera is being used in multiple tabs or browsers. If yes, then close the tabs (or browsers) and refresh the test page.
  3. Other resolutions
    1. A simple restart of the camera and/or the computer can often resolve temporary software or hardware issues.
    2. Ensure that the camera drivers and the product software are up to date.
    3. Verify that network connectivity and firewall configurations are not interfering with camera functionality.
    4. Do not use mobile devices tethered via USB for internet access or as a camera source.
