The first thing that you must focus on is the description of the test. A good description provides all the details about the test including, but not limited to, the following:
- Structure of the test
- Topics that are included in the test
- Expectations with respect to the skills that the candidate must have (mandatory and good-to-have skills)
Example
This test is for a Java Developer with four years of hands-on experience. You also need to be proficient in designing the system before you implement it.
The knowledge of the following skills will also be considered:
- Spring
- Hibernate
- REST web services
