Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
IP address restriction
This is a premium feature. If you want it enabled for your account, please contact your account manager.
You can enable IP-based restrictions for candidates and control access to tests. When these restrictions are enabled for a test and a candidate tries to log in from an IP that is outside the restricted range, the following message is displayed on the candidate’s screen:
Why IP restriction?IP addresses identify specific computers. Restricting IP addresses and subnets allows you to contain the test-taking to a single location.
Without this restriction, candidates will either be able to access the test themselves from any location or even have someone else take the test for them.
