Creating subjective questions

To create subjective questions, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to HackerEarth Assessments using your admin credentials.
  2. Click Library.
  3. In the Library section, click My library.

  4. Click Create a question. 
  5. Select Subjective under the General question type.
  6. In the Problem Statement field, enter the problem statement.
  7. In the Difficulty level list, select the difficulty level of the problem. For example, Easy.
  8. In the Maximum score field, enter the maximum marks that you want to assign to your question.
  9. Enter the relevant tags associated with the question in the Tags field.
  10. Click Next.

  11. Select the evaluation method which you want to choose for the question. HackerEarth provides you with three methods of evaluation which are as follows: AI evaluation, keyword evaluation, and manual evaluation.

  12. You can also allow candidates to upload files. This will help you to understand the approach of the candidate for the question. Click Allow candidates to upload a file. This file can be checked manually.
  13. Click Next.
  14. You can also provide a solution template that can work as a starting point for the candidates to write their answers. This is not mandatory but it can help the candidates to write the answer in the format you want them to.
  15. Click Publish.
