Submitting an idea

Hackathon challenges on HackerEarth typically consist of an Idea phase and a Prototype phase.

In this article, we will explore the following topics:

Prerequisites

  • You must have a HackerEarth account.
  • You must be registered for the hackathon in which you want to participate.

Idea phase: The first phase of the hackathon process

The Idea phase is typically the first phase of any hackathon. It allows you to understand the problem statement, brainstorm on various approaches, and come up with the most effective idea for that problem.

If the Idea phase has not started, you will see the following on the page: ‘You can submit your idea soon.’
